DHI Time Series Package

Introduction

Welcome to DHI Time Series Package 2016. In this Release Note you will find information about new features of DHI Time Series Package, and what you need to know in order to install and get started with Release 2016.

The DHI Time Series Package is a set of tools designed to empower you to to load, save, visualise (graphically or in tabular form), and edit time series data. Time Series Package is designed to meet DHI users' time series handling needs. In short, you can access the components from almost any programming language, allowing easy and cheap integration into your application, and extend them to suit your own needs. Among other things, you can use the package to access DHI time series files directly or you can access your own time series file formats through the creation of data bridges.

System requirements

The recommended minimum system requirements are:

Operating systems Fully supported operating systems *
Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit), Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) and Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (64 bit).

Non-supported but partially tested operating systems **
There are no non-supported, but partially tested, operating systems for this release.
Note that Release 2016 is the last release supporting 32 bit operating systems.
Processor x86 or x64, 2.2 GHz (or higher)
Memory (RAM) 2 GB (or higher)
Hard disk 40 GB (or higher)
Monitor SVGA, resolution 1024x768 in 16 bit colour
Graphics adapter 64 MB RAM (256 MB RAM or higher recommended), 24 bit true colour
File system NTFS
Software requirements .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 4.0 (Full Profile)

* Fully supported operating systems are systems that have been tested in accordance with MIKE's Quality Assurance procedures and where warranty and software maintenance agreement conditions apply. However, please note that the DHI Time Series Package is provided free of charge and thus is not covered by a standard support agreement. Please refer to the "Disclaimer and conditions of use" document, displayed during installation.

** Non-supported but partially tested operating systems are systems, which are not officially supported by the MIKE software products. These operating systems have only undergone very limited testing for the purpose of MIKE software, but the software and key features are likely to work. Installation of MIKE software on a non-supported operating system is done so at the user's own risk. The MIKE software warranty and software maintenance agreement conditions do not apply for unsupported operating systems and DHI is under no obligation to provide assistance or troubleshooting for cases where the software is being used on a non-supported operating system.

Installation

DHI Time Series Package is available for download on www.mikepoweredbydhi.com. Note that the installer comes in two versions targeting 32- and 64 bit operating systems respectively. To install the DHI Times Series Package, please run the file 'setup.exe', and follow the on-screen instructions.

Product invocation

Launch the 'DHI Time Series Package' from the Windows Start menu. Documentation will be provided upon request.
