No changes have been applied to MIKE BASIN in Service Pack 1 (SP1)

MIKE BASIN 2009 Service Pack 2 - June 2009

Module/Type Error/Inconvenience/New feature Status Remarks
Hydropower nodes Effective Head calculation was not calculated properly with Time Step Average method. Fixed
Irrigation nodes
  • Irrigation demand was not calculated correctly on the day of snowing
  • SimulateTimeStep() method could not be called multiple times when the model contains irrigation nodes
Fixed
Reservoir nodes Multiple remote flow control rules were not allowed  to point the same downstream Improved
Excel Macro simulation Result timeseries were not registered properly in the database, when simulation is carried out from Excel Fixed
Simulation Progress bar Progress bar was not updated during simulation Fixed

MIKE BASIN 2009 Service Pack 3 - November 2009

Module/Type Error/Inconvenience/New feature Status Remarks
Setting up the network The calculation order of nodes in a network with a directional channel revised. Fixed
Trace river tool Trace river tool gave error when the map projection and the DEM projection were different Fixed
Groundwater function Water balance error when using Groundwater function in water user-node Fixed
Unit handling Unit of catchment areas is shown properly in the US unit system. Fixed
Misc
  • Minor corrections in online help (and launching of relevant help page)
  • New warning and error messages added
  • Plotting of TS on Chinese OS could cause program termination
Fixed
ArcGIS version MIKE BASIN is supported on ArcGIS 9.3 incl. service pack 1 but with SP3 it has also been executed and tested on 9.3.1. Issues found during this have been corrected. Fixed

MIKE BASIN 2009 Service Pack 4 - February 2010

Module/Type Error/Inconvenience/New feature Status Remarks
Unit handling Setting US units for reservoirs. Fixed
Load Calculator Handling domestic sources. Fixed
Load Calculator Baseflow derived flux not included in the "nonpoint" fraction in load result table. Fixed
NAM simulation A NAM simulation can not be hotstarted, when the simulation is started from MIKE BASIN. Fixed
Connection channel A mass balance error may occur in a connection channel under flow loss (e.g. seepage). Fixed
Water user MIKE BASIN does not warn if curtailment level for water user is defined below top of dead storage. Fixed

MIKE BASIN 2009 Service Pack 5 - June 2010

Module/Type Error/Inconvenience/New feature Status Remarks
Load Calculator Unused output fields removed. Fixed
Load Calculator Calculation crashes, when Distance Decay option is not used. Fixed
Irrigation The potential crop yield is not correctly calculated. Fixed
Groundwater function Mass balance error, when running with 1 layer-ground water reservoir. Fixed
Water Quality Performance of WQ module initialization improved. Fixed
Irrigation When a crop sequence is irrigated (irrigate option enable) and has an irrigation method model of type "none", an error occurs. Fixed
Irrigation Adding an irrigation node in MIKE BASIN (Chinese Version) causes error. Fixed
Irrigation Plotting timeseries in MIKE BASIN (Chinese Version) causes ArcMap to crash. Fixed
Irrigation The irrigation module does not write applied irrigation for each field into the results, but only for the entire irrigation node. Fixed
Water user Concentration from point source is not properly added when return flow fraction is different to 1. Fixed
Misc
  • Project is corrupted, when DHI license can not be retrieved.
Fixed
