New features^ top
- DEM data can now also be imported from a TIN
Known Defects & Workarounds^ top
MIKE 11 GIS 2009 Service Pack 2 - June 2009
| Module/Type | Error/Inconvenience/New Feature | Status | Remarks |
| Additional storage area |
- A link between additional storage area and cross-section is displayed |
Improved | |
| User-defined chainage |
|
Fixed | |
| Cross section | A cross-section digitized over a connection branch and a “real” branch did not get the correct river chainage for the “real” branch | Fixed |
MIKE 11 GIS 2009 Service Pack 3 - November 2009
| Module/Type | Error/Inconvenience/New Feature | Status | Remarks |
| Network export to nwk11 | Problems have been identified in some setup to export Network to a nwk11-file. | Fixed | |
| DEM connection 'lost' | Occasionally, the DEM is 'lost' while working with Network or Cross sections and when opening existing projects, and the user is forced to re-select the DEM with a risk of overwriting the actual manual editing on cross sections. | Fixed | |
| Editing of cross section markers | Editing of markers in the xns property dialog does not work as intended. Editing can be made but is not handled correctly even after saving project etc. | Fixed | |
| Markers update | Markers are automatically updated when importing a xns11-file to M11GIS and hence, eventual user-modified markers are lost. | Fixed | |
| Import of cross section file | Occasionally, an error occurs when importing a cross section flie. | Fixed | |
| Editing button in Cross section overview | The 'Editing' button in the cross section overview is not working as intended. Additonally, frequent crash occurs after modifying a cross section in the cross section properties. | Fixed | |
| Digitize Alignment lines tool | Cross section markers are not updated as intended when using the 'Digitize allignment line' tool. When exporting cross sections, markers in cross section are not updated. | Fixed | |
| Timeseries Analysis | Resample tool problem corrected to avoid risk of destroying data in original series without noticing it following the re-sampling execution | Fixed. | |
| Error message while creating a new project | Error message stating that 'Object is not a COM object' occurs often when setting up a new project in MIKE 11 GIS. | Fixed | |
| ArcGIS version | MIKE 11 GIS is supported on ArcGIS 9.3 incl. service pack 1 but with SP3 it has also been executed and tested on 9.3.1. Issues found during this have been corrected. | Fixed |
MIKE 11 GIS 2009 Service Pack 4 - February 2010
| Module/Type | Error/Inconvenience/New Feature | Status | Remarks |
| Diagnostics of non-intersected Cross sections | Cross sections which were not intersected by any river branches was not detected and running diagnostics gave no apparant error. | Fixed | |
| Survey points to Cross Sections | Marker positions from alignment lines digitisation could become inverted when exporting cross sections. | Fixed | |
| Cross sections intersecting Link Channel branches | Cross section generator did not allow a cross section line to intersect more than 1 branch even if the second branch was of type Link Channel. This must be allowed as cross sections are not used inside a Link Channel branch. | Fixed | |
| Extending Cross sections lines | Error in cross section generation tool preventing extension of existing cross section lines. | Fixed | |
| Survey points to Cross sections | X-values in Raw Data table was not ascending as required when generating cross sections from suvey points | Fixed | |
| Insert Structure | An error occasionally occured when inserting a Strucure by Branch/Chainage | Fixed | |
| Loading branches with negative chainage values. | An error has been detected for importing network with branches defined by negative chainage values in case chainage was larger than -100 km. | Fixed |
